SOCIAL MEDIA WORK DAY

  • Collective Chemistry 5201 11th Ave NW Seattle United States (map)

Our Website Work Days have been so successful that we thought we’d target another one of our freelancer aches - Social Media!

We know that a social media presence is important to advertising our brands and businesses, but it requires attention, patience, and lots of time - which means most of us neglect it!

Join us on the 22nd for all-day programming designed to get us motivated, informed, and inspired to do SOMETHING with our socials! We will have local experts giving talks and leading critiques, lot’s of peer review opportunities, even some time to create content with our photographer members!

Schedule

10am - 11am | Coffee + Donuts Intention Setting

Kendall will lead a casual intention setting chat where we will take quick peeks at each other’s social media platform (the “before”) and identify goals for the day.

11am - 12:00 | Thriving on Social Media in 2024: Strategies for a New Social Media Era - with Amanda Cade

Start your day with a thorough, encouraging, and instructional talk from a serious social media expert! Amanda Cade co-owns Lore Marketing with her partner Nick, and focuses on social media strategy, photography, and content creation. We’re super excited to have her!

12pm |  Work!

Time to implement what you just learned from Amanda. Step out to grab lunch when needed, conference with fellow coworkers when you need a casual critique!

2pm - 2:45 | Turning the Camera Around - A chat with Ira Wolf - musician, vanlifer, creator, and content curator.

Ira will Skype into our day to chat about the importance of sharing yourself in your social media to promote your brand. Leave with the inspiration to create an “About Me” post!

3pm - 5pm | “About Me” photo + video opportunity!

Collective Chemistry photographers Kendall, Mike, and Rachel will be available to snap a professional photo of you that you can use to create an “About Me” post, or other content!

The studio will be set up with a small video set that you can use to create a Reel or other video for your social media - place your phone on the stand, record a talk to camera, show off your personality!

3pm - 5pm | Live Feedback Session with Nikki Barron

Participate in our interactive one-on-one social media feedback sessions, where you can gain invaluable insights and advice on your current strategy and content from Nikki Barron, a seasoned communications expert with over 15 years of experience. This is your opportunity to fine-tune your social media game and take it to the next level.
